Pressure monotype printing is a method that uses an inked plate and the pressure of a drawing utensil and soft layers to transfer line work onto a sheet of paper. Participants can bring in a photograph or drawing to trace and printmaker Adrienne Lichliter will demonstrate how to translate it into a monotype. Each participant will be working with either a 9×12’’ or 8×11” image size unless they bring in their own sized plexiglass sheet and paper. This process does not require a printing press and may be repeated at home. Materials included.
