From preparing the chemicals to exposing and developing your images, this hands-on experience will guide you through each step. No prior experience is necessary, just a passion for experimentation and a desire to learn. Join us for a day of artistic discovery and leave with your own unique cyanotype creations.
Arthur Fields, a versatile artist and educator based in Central Texas, holds an MFA in Photography from Texas Woman’s University and a BFA in Digital Imaging and Photography from Washington University in St. Louis. Presently, as an Associate Professor of Art at Dallas College- Brookhaven Campus, he imparts knowledge in analog photography, digital imaging, and design. Arthur actively contributes to the artistic community, serving as a board member for the Society for Photographic Education, a founding member of the First City Sculpture Project, and an Area Advisor for Brother 2 Brother Campus Men’s Organization. Arthur’s artworks have graced exhibitions nationwide, featuring in esteemed venues such as The University of Southern Indiana, Box13 ArtSpace, Weitman Gallery, PhotoPlace Gallery, and the California Institute of Integral Studies.
