Demo: Intro to Graphics (Printmaking)

July 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free for CU Members/CU Membership Required

Join us for an exciting Printmaking Workshop tailored for fine artists and aspiring printmakers! This hands-on program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to become proficient printmakers. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience in printmaking, this workshop is perfect for you!

Explore the world of printmaking through practical, hands-on sessions. Learn the art of using our state-of-the-art Ettan Etching Press and our miniature Blick press. We will cover press etiquette with a printing plate (intaglio) and a printing block (relief). Discover the unique features of each press and how to make the most of them in your creative process.

Our knowledgeable Programs Manager, Taylor, will be your guide throughout the workshop. Taylor holds an MFA in printmaking from UNT and will provide instruction on setting up, printing, and maintaining the press. Additionally, you’ll learn how to safely operate within our shared workspace.

This program requires a Cedars Union Membership. To learn more about being a CU artist, please visit our Join page.
