Intaglio is a type of printing where ink is wiped over a plate leaving ink in any indented or abraded surfaces to be transferred onto paper through a printing press. Drypoint intaglio creates these lines and textures through physical pressure of certain tools rather than using an etchant on metal. In the workshop Adrienne will teach members how to use this process on illustration board — a cheaper and greener alternative to metals or plexiglass.
