Join us for a workshop on creating your own black and white linocut prints! This hands-on session will cover everything from material basics to carving techniques, press setup, and printing methods. You’ll start by learning how to prep a linoleum block and the tools used for carving, then design and carve your own block.

Once your block is ready, you’ll receive instructions on setting up and operating the press, as well as hand printing methods so you can continue to print in your own studio space. The workshop will also include guidance on safely working in our shared studio and familiarize you with the array of printmaking materials and tools at your disposal.

Leading the workshop is our knowledgeable Programs Manager, Taylor, who holds an MFA in printmaking from the University of North Texas. Taylor will provide hands-on instruction throughout the process, ensuring you gain a solid understanding of both the artistic and technical aspects of the printing process.

Perfect for beginners or experienced artists, you’ll leave with your own hand-printed edition of 6 prints. All materials are included!
