Magaly Cantu (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Denton, Texas currently pursuing an MFA at the University of North Texas. Specializing in print media, book arts, ceramics, and drawing, she explores girlhood experiences to challenge shame culture in Mexican communities. Magaly has exhibited at Arts Fort Worth, 500X Gallery, BLK WHT & GRY Gallery, East/West Galleries, and the Greater Denton Arts Council. Her work is featured in both national and international collections.
