Tiara Unique Francois is a painter, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is currently studying at the University of Texas at Arlington to earn her BFA in painting with plans to graduate in May 2022. Utilizing acrylics, paint markers, glitter shimmer, watercolor and ink, she’s interested in old family photos stacked in the drawer, love letters folded in wallets and plants behind the kitchen sink. She has shown work in group exhibitions in Texas and California. She received “Best in Show” in the exhibition, Don’t Touch Your Face at Shockboxx Gallery in 2020 and was awarded "Juror’s Choice" in the Black Voices juried exhibition at 500x Gallery in 2020.
